The UP Tacloban Division of Humanities and the Leyte-Samar Heritage Center invite everyone to Episode 3 (Theatre) of “Pasundayag ngan Uruistorya: An Online Exhibition of and Panel Discussion on Films and Performances” on Monday, 28 February 2022, 2:00-4:30 PM.
In the last episode of Pasundayag ngan Uruistorya, three stories exploring the lifestyle of students during the pandemic, the culture of violence and gossiping community surrounding the election season will be featured vis-a-vis digital theatre.
A talkback will follow the viewing of the performance videos. Asst. Prof. Olive Nieto of the Department of Speech Communication and Theatre Arts in UP Diliman and Ms. Ina Azarcon-Bolivar of Dulaang Unibersidad ng Pilipinas will share their thoughts about the plays, especially on the performance aspect of the three shows. Their insights about digital theatre and about the remote delivery of theatre arts courses will also be tackled during the discussion.
