Thank you, Djakarta Teater Platform, Jakarta Art Council/Dewan Kesenian Jakarta, Dendi Madiya! I am so inspired to try this process in class.
Tried for the first time to adapt and perform the MonoVlog on Zoom for an international audience at The Magdalena Project’s Bodies:On:Live Magdalena:On:Line 2021. Learned that the most powerful buttons were the mute and unmute buttons. Ibang creature talaga ang Zoom.
Thank you for the wonderful comments from all the participants! Thank you, Elizabeth De Roza, Janaina, Helen, and the Magdalena Team for creating this space and for all your hard work!
Humbled to present in a panel with Frederika Tsai and Bettina Fung. They are awesome! You may Google their works or go to the Magdalena website.
Salamat sa Pinoy friends, John Carlo Pagunaling and James Harvey Estrada!!
Layeta Pinzon Bucoy, from Australia to the world. English-english tayo. Na-translate pa sa Spanish na alam kong naiintindihan mo rin. Pwede na siguro tayo magBIGO LIVE.
Let’s help the Magdalena community grow by donating to https://paypal.me/bodiesonlive
P. S. may LED lights na po tayo sa canopy!
I will be presenting a performance-lecture of the MonoVlog at the Magdalena:On:Line 2021, Magdalena Online Festival.
So happy to be invited in this festival by my good friend, Elizabeth de Roza! Looking forward to the new encounters with women theatre and performance makers
MONOVLOG, my little project with Layeta Pinzon Bucoy that started on the first week of the Metro Manila lockdown, will be at the VLF Playwright’s Fair tomorrow. We’ll discuss the collaborative process with Lallie on monovlog-making in the time of pandemic.
Thank you, VLF for holding space for us to figure out what we are really doing (bwahahahhahaa!). Mabuhay to our collab team from Tanghalang Pilipino, Sining Banwa in Bikol, and Monovlog-Icebag in Los Baños and in Zamboanga! “Welcome back to our channel!!”
