Did somebody order a performance in a box? Chika about 331 days of doing digital performances in social media.

Salamat, Eric Villanueva Dela Cruz at Bienangela Mapagu sa chikahan! Salamat din sa lahat ng dumaan Paul Liwag, Frida Britanny DelaPokipoki, at JV Can! From stories, fleet, speculative theatre, pagbuwag sa box set (kasi nga nasa bahay ka na), unboxing a digital performance, and transforming boo-boos in soc med as part of the performance.

Will devise a MonoVlog (Mananggal Acting and Pambahay Aesthetics) on Friday same time.

Maygad, gandang podcast material pala ng PERFORMANCE IN A BOX! Ready na ko. Hahaha.

1 Year of MonoVlog Making

mag-1 year na sa pandemya na gumagawa ng digital performances with Layeta Pinzon Bucoy. Gusto mo yung parang Lisa Frank ang sponsor nitong “annual report”?And yes, tulad po ng acting journal.. may performance making journ(al/ey) po ako. Mana pala ako kay Lola Laring na mahilig isulat ang sinasabi ni Bro. Mike sa El Shaddai radio.

I have been using Kumu as my playground in testing ideas (for class, course pack, paper, proposals, etc.) and in creating MonoVlogs. Grateful to friends, strangers, and even bots for being my fabulous collaborators.

Salamat sa aking surprise collaborators last week na sina Emmanuel Feliciano at Bienangela Mapagu! We will release our MonoVlog (or DiaVlog or Greek Chorus na ba ito?) soon. Hintay lang. Oras lang kalaban.

Will be spending Salubong 2021 alone but maygad ang weird talaga ng mga trip ko!

I sing/dictate;

My tablet/PC types the lyrics;

I will sing the new song composed by my tablet/PC;

I will try to do all the famous videoke shots and avatar dances (ipilit natin).

I will go live via Kumu.

Medyo kulang lang sa camera to show the lyrics pero i-push natin ang mental gymnastics ng set-up na ito.

Magbabasa ako ng tula ni Paolo Manalo! Pinahiram niya kanina!

P.S. And yes, salubong na but this is a study for my course pack next semester and for my future creative works.

P.P.S. Naalala ko lang kasi nung bata ako nakikinig ako ng radyo tapos sinusulat ko lyrics. Ganyan din mali-mali. Hahaha.
